About Us

Furness Chemicals Limited began as the Chemical Department of our Parent Furness Trinidad Limited who acted as agent for the Diversey Corporation Of Canada (now known as Diversey Uniliver) worldwide leaders in Industrial cleaning chemicals. In 1969, Diversey Corporation (Eastern Caribbean) Limited was formed as a joint venture between Furness Trinidad and Diversey Canada to handle the manufacture and Distribution of Chemicals to the Eastern Caribbean area and was based in the Omera Industrial estate, Arima.

In 1983 Furness Trinidad acquired the Diversey interest and changed its name to Furness Chemicals Limited and later relocated its plant to 3 Concession Road, Sealots.

Furness Chemicals later established household lines and focused its exports throughout the entire Caribbean.

Its main household products are as follows:

• RainFresh Disinfectants
• Rapid Dishwashing Liquid
• Furnbleach Bleach
• Reflecta Polishes
• Kleen Off All purpose cleaner

Furness Chemicals also specialize in industrial cleaning chemicals for the Hotel, Beverage and energy sectors.
